95 years ago today (10th Nov 1929) Longford became the inaugural Leinster Minor Football champions with victory over Dublin by 3-4 to 1-4 at the Navan Showgrounds. Dublin objected and delay meant the inaugural All-Ireland MFC final (no semis) didn't take place until April 1930.
