If youโre getting a lot of resistance then the chances are that youโre pushing too much. Stop pushing and the resistance will stop. Try showing people a better way of working. #agile
While I agree a 2-day course doesn't make you a great scrum master, I see the value in learning the basics so you can explore and grow on the right foundations. Everyone is a beginner to start with.

Agile. One size does NOT fit all. Find your own Agile, based on your context, environment and needs. Yes you should learn from other peoples experiences but what works for them may not work for you.

Worry less about 'being agile' or 'doing agile' and focus on what are the most valuable features for your customers. Let the great people you've hired figure out 'how' to deliver that value. The rest should happen naturally.
