If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing

Manchester, minutes ago. What makes me so sad, the riots and all violence we are witnessing is based on misinformation and lies. Much of which can be corrected by responsible reporting grown up and discussion by politicians.
Really good @springsteen & E Street Band gig last night @wembleystadium
Why do people buy expensive tickets and chat constantly, and then go to the bar during Racing in the Street … @BruceTourNews@SpringNuts_
More money for the Royals 😡

Difficult to see how the ownership of Everton can be resolved until the status of the 777/A-Cap loan is established. The Leadenhall case is another block as until that is resolved it is difficult to see how King can settle on the amount owed to A-Cap by Everton

It’s all out in the open now.
Project 2025. Putin. The GOP. SCOTUS. Elon and his billionaire club.
Trump’s plan to extinguish democracy in America is out of the shadows, along with his enablers.
The level of sycophancy and corruption we have witnessed across our institutions has been a shock to many.
It didn’t happen overnight.
It’s taken them decades, methodically working their way in through local elections all the way to lifetime appointments, recruiting the rich and powerful, harboring the hateful, and amassing a cult of zealots along the way.
You’re probably tired of hearing that every election matters. Character matters. Integrity matters.
You’re witnessing first-hand what happens when it doesn’t.
We now stand on the precipice of a country we barely recognizewomen losing their rights, entire communities fearful for their lives, millions threatened with deportation, white supremacy on the rise, rule of law subservient to the wealthy and politically connected…
We won’t fix it overnight.
If it takes years, decades, generations even, so be it.
We will not let America slide into darkness on our watch. Neither will the generations to come. I believe this in my bones.
We will use the tools we have, our voice and our vote, to rebuild and renew the promise of America. To regain faith in our institutions. We will teach our kids to do the same.
You are all custodians of our democracy.
It’s time to answer the call.
James Dyson is pulling all his staff out of UK, he has already taken his accounts to Singapore so he doesn't pay tax.
Don't buy any of sh*tty Dyson products and let everyone else know.
I wonder how many seats the UK Green Party would have won if they had received the level of coverage from the British media enjoyed by Farage and Reform?
I can't believe I'm writing this. I flew home early to the UK to vote for a better future for my son, but I was turned away at the polling station.
I brought a copy of my passport because mine is being renewed.
I don’t have a driving license or other forms of ID because I’ve been out of the country for over a year.
They wouldn’t accept the copy of my passport, I stood there and...I couldn't believe it.
I spent time and money coming home to vote. But I didn't mind. My family's future is at stake. My son's future is at stake.
I'd gone to vote with my whole family. We have the same address, and they'd all brought their photo IDs. But it still wasn't enough to vouch for me.
I’m a UK citizen. I've worked here, paid taxes, this is my home.
I've voted EVERY election in my life.
What have we come to as a country?!
Is this democracy? I wonder, are rich white men being turned away from voting? Or just people who look like me?

Robert Gros made £27m profit selling useless gowns via the VIP PPE Lane, of course he never paid back a penny, he bought 2 mansions instead.
RT and see if we can make him as famous as Michelle Mone.
