@chickengenius Hi Ken, fellow sg here. Just wanted to share about considering setting 1:1 SL. Generally if you sell put and you think it will go to 0 and it should happen most of the time 50% stop loss is not v realistic as 1:2 risk/reward with >50% win rate doesn't happen often for short dated
@AaronDrost1@zerohedge I hope you'll have better days to come. I have a feeling the price of the stock isn't super linked to fundamentals but it is okay to do nothing imo
@timebargains i feel the main difficulty is getting trades regularly but i think it is just inevitable and a need to have discipline to stick to the process despite not having a 'strong' view of the underlying

@timebargains my experience is that managing risk and playing mean reversion seems allow you to take trades with good R/R as you can either get delta on the bounce/fade or decay if nothing happens which is less punishing than long/short the underlying futures

It can be challenging without enough experience in the market to understand how a trend should feel and to develop the intuition to be proficient.

Retail can also use judgement based on experience to determine which trends are ‘suitable’ to participate in and for how long. There are many other ways to form ideas/thesis to anticipate supply/demand for different tradeable products
