Ken Dryden -- whose passing is incredibly sad for me -- was truly a one of a kind; and then they threw away the mold. His brilliance in goal was matched by his conquest of the writing business and his fervent desire
to make hockey better. Plus, he was just a sweetheart of a guy.

Ken lived a full, rewarding life. It mattered much to him that others did, too. He loved his wife Lynda and their kids beyond words, and I will always be grateful for how kind he was to my kids. He leaves a legacy that will serve this country indefinitely. Forever to be missed.

Ken championed the @MapleLeafs fan in the Purple seats, citizens who were marginalized, people who deeply loved 🇨🇦 and those who had just arrived. He had a quiet and sharp sense of humour. Everyone who met Ken was better for having done so.
