After eight years of covering Donald, too many journalists have gotten into the habit of seeing strategy in his crude and instinctive behavior. The truth is quite simple--Donald can’t help himself. I approached 4 different people today who gave the appearance of possibly being Trump supporters. All 4, as it turns out...were.

While I talked to them all at different times, they all gave some variation of the same answers:

1. What is it about Trump that makes you want to vote for him? "He cares about this country more than any other President ever has."

2. What about his conviction, the stealing of documents, and his comments about fallen soldiers? "That's all BS. Joe Biden has tried everything to keep him from being President again!"

Now, I know people say, "Don't be judgmental." I fail regularly at that.

When people are dumber than a box of rocks and make decisions that adversely impact society at large, that's exactly how I'm going to judge them. All four were dumber than a box of rocks.

It's important to distinguish between simply being part of a cult and being a certified idiot. It's possible to have a genius IQ and wind up in a cult. Examples abound.

However, some people are just dumb as hell. They've always been dumb as hell, and they'll always be dumb as hell. From what I've seen, that makes up a significant portion of people who still support Donald Trump.

Trump loves the stupid. The stupid love Trump.

The more intelligent people of the world...who support Trump, do so out of something he promises that will be beneficial to them personally. Not something that will be good for society at large, but some selfish thing that they are focused on...that is all about them.

This is Jim Thorpe. Look closely at the photo, you can see that he's wearing different socks and shoes. This wasn't a fashion statement. It was the 1912 Olympics, and Jim, a Native American from Oklahoma represented the U.S. in track and field.
On the morning of his competitions, his shoes were stolen. Luckily, Jim ended up finding two shoes in a garbage can. That's the pair that he's wearing in the photo. But one of the shoes was too big, so he had to wear an extra sock. Wearing these shoes, Jim won two gold medals that day. This is a perfect reminder that you don't have to resign to the excuses that have held you back.
So what if life hasn't been fair? What are you going to do about it today? Whatever you woke up with this morning; stolen shoes, ill health, failed relationships, failed business, don't let it stop you from running your race. You can experience more in life if you'll get over the excuses and get on with living. You can have reasons or you can have results...but you can't have both.
My friends, may we all strive to keep running in this life no matter what the problem with our shoes (life) may be.

Out of that $15 million raised for Kamala Harris, not a single cent is going to be used to pay for legal expenses and lawyers bcos Harris is NOT a 34 count convicted felon, nor a 4 time indicted criminal, nor an adjudicated rapists.
