@jordanbhx Ok so I geeked out and looked into this further as the density seemed far too low. It looks like Andy’s figures are wrong and it’s actually 24.85 acres of housing (the rest is employment and suds etc) making it 47 dwellings per hectare.

@jordanbhx People want space for 2 cars and their little slice of middle England. Until consumer demand changes this is what volume housebuilders will produce in locations like this. They won’t build homes they can’t sell.

But the fact is that no developer would ever deliberately sit on land they own as investors require a strong return on capital employed.
