We absolutely, unequivocally, are NOT talking about this enough.

Down ballot in Texas is still beholden to the “I don’t know these people but I’ve been a Republican my entire life so I’m just gonna click this box.”

James Talarico is going to win. Ken Paxton is a piece of shit and federal races get the money to make that point.

But for 30 years Texas voters have had it drilled into their brains that they have to vote R no matter who sits next to the letter. Until a top of ticket like Ken Paxton comes along and they just can’t pull the lever for him.

But for the love of everything Texas.

They are ALL that bad. You won’t get the ads on TV, the other races won’t get the visibility, but they are ALL just as bad if not worse.

Break the damn cycle. Vote for Democrats up and down ballot in Texas in November.
