Qatar midfielder Assim Madibo has been handed a five-match ban for his challenge on Ismael Kone, which resulted in the Canadian player sustaining a broken leg at the World Cup.
BRING ON THE DISGRACE OF KANSAS CITY!
Algeria vs Austria
90 minutes of passive passing around at the back, 0-0 draw guarantees that both teams go through ... and nobody wants to win because they have to play Spain in R32!
I hope if the UK get a chance to host the world cup they take a leaf out of usa's book and zoom in on random British celebs like Tyrone from Corrie, Gareth Gates and the guy from the pepto bismol ad
If the groups remained exactly as they are right now, this is England's potential route to the final...
R32 ➡️ Portugal
R16 ➡️ Spain
QF ➡️ France
SF ➡️ Argentina
Final ➡️ Germany/Brazil
😳😳😳
That broken leg is so unlucky and I feel so bad for the Canadian guy, really upsetting.
However, you can’t send someone off because of the severity of an injury, that’s ridiculous.
It’s nothing more than a complete freak accident, the foul is acceptably a yellow and nothing more. There’s no intent there whatsoever, it’s a contact sport and unfortunately this kinda thing happens in football every now and again.
Really harsh on the Qatari guy, he was genuinely so heartbroken for the accident.
To give some context of how impressive Adam Scott’s streak of 100 straight Majors is….the Major where the steak started:
-David Duval won
- Gary Player was in the field
- Ernie Els finished T3 and was 31 years old
- Bernhard Langer finished T3 and was 7 years away from Champions Tour
- Seve was in the field and 44 years old
- Tiger Woods had “just” 6 Major wins
- Phil Mickelson was three years away from his first Major
- Robert Allenby was 14 years away from being kidnapped
- Brandel Chamblee played in his last Major, also his best Open Championship finish (T62)
Young women vaccinated against HPV now have close to zero risk of dying from cervical cancer before 30.
Not fewer symptoms. Not better treatment.
Close to zero risk of death.
That is an incredible and extraordinary public health achievement.🥰
-Shootings near the England camp
-Japan having to move twice due to terrible facilities
-Players and refs can't even get into the country
-The ball doesn't bounce on the pitches
-$150 trains to get to stadiums that aren't fit for purpose
They've had 8 years prep for this 😭
