@jeff_gluck I’m a lifelong fan and I watch every single race from trucks to cup. I enjoy and appreciate the racing we have. I’m for a championship format change. I believe most the people complaining don’t even watch, they just reminisce highlights that were no more common than today.
@rippinthetop@jeff_gluck I’ve been watching for the same amount of time, cheers. I appreciate the incredible moments the next gen has produced. While not perfect, I don’t remember a car that was. I think many NASCAR fans long for something that never existed, just see past highlight reels.
@jeff_gluck Great race. Unpredictability and cars on edge, varying tire strategy, and 9 of top ten finishers came from outside top 10 starting positions.
@IsThatJonesBoi I like Max and Larson. With that said, I think Larson is the better driver across a wider variety of series. Larson would not beat Max in F1 and Max wouldn’t beat Larson in Cup. Both great drivers, wreck or win style. As it stands right now in F1, Piastri is outperforming Max.
@jeff_gluck Yes, NASCAR made the right call on this one. Exciting as the finish was, you can’t have the integrity of the playoffs compromised by incredibly reckless driving. I’m all for hard racing, but what Dillon did was over the top. Keep the win but it will cost you in the big picture.
@jeff_gluck Richmond just produces such slow and subdued looking racing in my opinion. Was it a “good race for Richmond”? Maybe, but that just doesn’t warrant a yes from me. Richmond just hasn’t been good for some years now.
@jeff_gluck Yes. Best driver won, watching Larson storm through the field with Reddick on differing strategy was compelling. Even had some wild restarts and wrecks. I understand some people will be upset that they didn’t get to see record overtime restarts like Nashville. 🙄
@jeff_gluck Great race. I even enjoyed the chaos in the first half since I wasn’t expecting much action. Interesting strategy aspect too and Larson charging through the field was impressive.
@CarsonHocevar Haha I love this. As a fan that sat around in the stands for hours this past Sunday, I was incredibly disappointed. But this did make me laugh.
