UPDATE: This somehow gets worse.

Earlier, @district_care refused our refund claiming the college-uniform restriction was “CLEARLY MENTIONED” in the booking T&Cs.

I sent them screenshots of those exact T&Cs and asked them to show me the clause.

Their new response?

“The information available to you MAY NOT HAVE SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED such a restriction.”

Seriously???

So first the rule was “clearly mentioned” when you wanted to deny the refund.

Now that you're asked to actually SHOW IT, suddenly it “may not have specifically mentioned” it?

Whether the theatre can make its own policies is NOT the point.

We paid for valid tickets. We are 18+. We offered ID. We were denied entry because of our COLLEGE UNIFORM — and you are now acknowledging that this restriction may NOT EVEN HAVE BEEN DISCLOSED TO US.

You cannot use an allegedly “clearly mentioned” T&C to deny a refund and then backtrack when asked to produce that T&C.

So again:

SHOW THE EXACT CLAUSE WE AGREED TO.

Or REFUND OUR MONEY.
