@TheBrothersWISP I've been in situations where the sales team clearly over sold the product, and the technical support team went out of their way to help find a way to use the product.
Generally, the tech team gets punished for this. :-(
@TheBrothersWISP A lot of the original DSL providers were Open Access. You bought and aggregation port from them and they directed PVCs to you over that agg circuit. Some forced the ISP to pay for the circuit. Others had customer pay, and then request a PVC.
Sometimes things rattle around in my head long enough that I actually write about it. Maybe it'll resonate with you:

@mhammett I own one. It's IoT, so your data goes to someone else and they are kind enough to let you interact.
If you can live with that, it is good way to track your electricity usage.
Earlier this month, ARIN CCO John Sweeting & Senior Tech. Architect Jon Worley presented on #IPv6, #NetworkAutonomy & #RPKI at the inaugural #ABQNOG. @nanog caught up w/ event organizer @johnosmon to talk about the success of the new regional #NOG meeting: https://t.co/OH9k6Lafua
@TracketPacer Early in my career I learned most things from women around me. It took me a long time to realize how bad it was for many of them. (Thanks Kata, Gina, Kathleen, and Carol!)
@DrPeering@hunternewby I spent some time trying to educate local officials about the utility of an IX and what we had built locally. Within a few weeks, they briefed other locals about their initiative with Connected Nation. Color me disappointed.
