@LouStagner Hey, Lou. My regular group has a monthly tournament, and they are going to use the back tees now. Is there a way to tell how many shots that will cost a 12 index (14 course handicap) like me?

@LouStagner I feel that it is way more than just two shots on the slope. For example, a 330 yard par 4 becomes 380, and other holes bring hazards into play, etc.

@LouStagner We moved tournaments from the Combos Tees (6,144 yards; 69.6 rating, 124 slope, par 70) to the Black Tees (6,380 yards; 70.9 rating, 126 slope, par 70). This turns a couple of 330 yard par 4s into 380+. I'm trying to figure out how many shots this costs a 12 index like me.

GHIN says it's only 2 shots, but it has be to more than that. Hole yardages increase by +20, +45, +48, +15, +20, +15, +25, +25, +15. There's no way I lose only 2 shots to scrach on that.
