MicroStrategy’s $161 Million balance of its loan at Silvergate Bank was collateralized with 34,619 BTC. With a BTC price of $26,000, the collateral was $900 Million, or a 5.6 collateral coverage ratio. Most bankers would envy that ratio, yet Silvergate still blew it.
