In the books, there were still who claim themselves having a bit of the Blood of the Dragon because one of their ancestors was a Targaryen.

@AlienShades @Kamalfalilat Blood is ancestry. It's not about the title. The Arryns are Andals but they do have First Men blood. The Targaryens of Rhaenyra's bloodline are called Valyrians but they do have Andal blood through her maternal grandfather. Same goes with Daeron II's descendants
