@aryasmercy Aegon IV, the so called Unworthy was never cut by the Iron Throne and he's worse than Maegor the Cruel who plunged the realm into generations of corruption and Blackfyre Rebellions.
@Apex_willye There are still dozens of eggs after. A few dragons were born after the Dance but never got big anymore. Even after that, Targaryens continued the custom of having eggs in the cradle. Egg had one. And even Aegon IV gifted some eggs to his cronies
@AlienShades@Kamalfalilat In a world where blood is important, Baelor can claim he has the Blood of the First Men because a few of his ancestors did have one. In the books, there were still who claim themselves having a bit of the Blood of the Dragon because one of their ancestors was a Targaryen.
@AlienShades@Kamalfalilat Blood is ancestry. It's not about the title. The Arryns are Andals but they do have First Men blood. The Targaryens of Rhaenyra's bloodline are called Valyrians but they do have Andal blood through her maternal grandfather. Same goes with Daeron II's descendants
@AlienShades@Kamalfalilat House Royce is literally the second most powerful family in the Vale after the Arryns. Of course they intermarried many times. Like the Targaryens and Velaryons, Tyrells and Hightowers, Starks and Karstarks or Manderlys, Lannisters and Reynes
