It's crazy how in Charlotte we invested in upgrading our transit and it has created some incredible urban districts because of it.

It's almost like if we invested more, we might get more desirable districts like this🤔

@al_xrated @CitygalLisa @SeanForFive FWIW the Urban Forester enforces tree requirements of the Zoning Ordinance on private property, but Mayor O’Connell’s Executive Order #41 put MWS in charge of street trees within the public ROW. Not sure if MWS has the people or resources yet to maintain and replace street trees.

This is 2706 Acklen, I lived here for several years after college before I bought a house in E Nashville. Its zoned RS7.5, but it's got four apartment units. You could build this in a ton of RS neighborhoods within the UZO without negativity affecting the neighborhood character.

Sad to say it looks like this big tree in 5-Points has died, I turned it in to the Hub, hopefully it can get replaced. We got some new trees in 5-Points with Bartaco and Edley’s but we need to plan some more before the other older trees go.
