So. Much. Powder.
Here's a few seconds of highlights from a recent client video. Can't even begin to describe how much this did NOT FEEL LIKE WORK. ⛷️
Note: most of the video clips (252 in total) arrived without much audio -- all that shusssshing and c…https://t.co/JSYxQ5mo2A
@DarthGarry @Shpigford I was just looking out at my Big Green Egg sitting (covered) in the snow on the back patio yesterday and picturing something almost identical...
@brunotorious@Shpigford How about that? It's actually useful. Not like I haven't read the LP builder's help section or googled around 20x's already. Cool. Thx.
@Shpigford It’d be clever/humorous/catch them off guard, if you ended the signature, “CEO, Maybe” - with something that played off the name. “CEO, Maybe (no, definitely am the CEO…Maybe is our company name)
@hurkman Diving deep into your Color Correction Hndbk. Any changes since publication in ‘14 to display calibration recommendations? Been frustrated with Spyder. Seems my LG 27UN850-W 27” Ultrafine UHD (3840 x 2160) doesn’t have a lot of adjustments it can make.
@dickiebush Changed my thinking to aim for longer term goals.
A takeaway for me:
If we're going to be alive for another 50+ years, why not aim at a 50+ year problem to solve?
Well...of all the crappy negativity I've had to sift through, and look away from, since the Indie Hacker community urged me to stay on twitter...there's finally a glimmer of hope. 🥹🌦️
I was wrong about lockdowns and mandates. I was wrong and the reason I was wrong was my tribalism, my emotions, and my distorted understanding of human nature and of the virus. It doesn't matter much, but I wanted to apologize for being wrong.
If you’ve read “Building a Second Brain” (or you’re like me, and you’ve read 70% of it and want to quickly get insights from the remaining 30%) Tiago’s crew trained this AI on the manuscript…you can ask it questions about the book. 🤓 https://t.co/yyPCuuJGWP #basb
Love finding company statements so declarative they're strong enough to be left online for 925 days.
...and that's a small timeframe, that's also rare in the tech space. We waffle too much. SaaS ought to start thinking longer term.
Are there no 10 yr plans? 100 yr? 1k yr?

@AliAbdaal There's definitely a lot of people still unclear on the concept. Notice how many people are recommending "project management" tools to build a second brain. I'd lose my mind, if I put my 3,047 notes into a scrum board-type tool.
@arvidkahl@ConvertKit At a Search Engine conf. in Chicago (winter). Omniture (at the time, an analytics platform) gave out super long scarves with their name down the side. Too big to put in a swag bag..people draped them over their shoulders as they walked around. Free advertising aplenty. Genius.
@elonmusk Imagine the potential if twitter were to evolve to where it could stop the spread of misinformation instead of exponentially proliferating it. Many times the stakes are much higher to humanity than they were in this case.
@Henkenius@IAmPascio@canva@carrd@gumroad@copy_ai@NotionHQ@buffer I've spent the last 3 days experimenting with AI tools for writing and image creation. With the thought that I would find a way to crank out 20 blog posts for the month, in a morning. It's NOT going well. If I want people to actually read the posts, I've got nothing usable.
