It was an honor to be with members of our @goCLTCC Team at @NorthRapides keynoted by @LAGovJeffLandry. Also, NRBIA lead and @johnson_state introduced @LC_University's new President Dr. Mark Johnson.
There was a wonderful turnout on what was a great meeting. What made today extra special was that both Gov. Landry and Rep. Johnson were in Washington, D.C. yesterday with significant accomplishments. Gov. Landry was with President Trump at the announcement of Hyundai’s new Louisiana Steel Mill and Rep. Johnson was sworn U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts officially admitting him to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
As much as I travel, I’m never surprised by the familiar faces I run into. It was great catching up with a good friend, fomer Pineville resident —and in my opinion, the greatest sports announcer of all time—Lyn Rollins, as he headed out to call an LSU baseball game.

Cade Brumley has been a game-changer for education in Louisiana. Our progress began the moment he took the helm five years ago. While it takes a village to drive change, visionary leadership was the spark—so thank you @cadebrumley and @Linda_McMahon for recognizing Louisiana’s progress. Most importantly, I’m thrilled for our kids, who are finally getting the education they deserve and the opportunities they need for a brighter future.
KALB's @colinpvedros spoke with Will Green, the President and CEO of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, about the work from the state legislature in 2024. Watch "Voice of the People" here ➡️ https://t.co/uyMSGy6fgn
I joined @foxandfriends to discuss Louisiana’s progress in education.
Kids deserve a quality education.
We are pleased with progress; however, we have more work to do. https://t.co/hkocTvisU8
Always a pleasure to serve alongside these professionals. Excited to have such great news to share today about #laed. Looking forward to more good stories to tell in the future.
LA's highest-ever ranking on the Nation's Report Card is a testament to the hard work of students, educators, and a commitment to increasing core academic skills. Together we will continue strengthening that foundation, empowering teachers, and helping students succeed. #laed
The Nations Report Card affirms Louisiana’s smart policy decisions & strong implementation of best practice.
I’m thankful for everyone’s contribution to progress, especially teachers.
Let’s celebrate while seeking to deliver a strong school for every child & family.
This week, we prayed for our community and those who serve us. Today, I give prayers of thanks for the efforts of first responders, utility workers, road crews, churches, volunteers & all who stepped up to serve and protect. Our people make me proud to call District 27 home.
A great kickoff with the 2025 @NorthRapides meeting today featuring @COPinevillela Mayor Joe Bishop and Mike Tutor & Tom David of Pineville Downtown Development District & Pan American Engineers delivering keynotes. Very grateful to Representative @johnson_state for organizing this monthly information exchange and public forum. Looking forward to a great year.
“About 94,000 Louisiana employees and retirees from public service jobs — 2.1 million nationwide — lost part or all of their Social Security benefits because of two provisions, the WEP & GPO. #Socialsecurityfairnessact
