@bengoult I am a die-hard DropBox fan. Syncs well when you’re back online. Am personally offended by the push to use all these Google and Microsoft based products that have emerged more recently. But of course, Dropbox doesn’t allow multiple folk accessing the same doc concurrently

Today in my cell bio class @wesleyan_u we are discussing intermediate filaments, which means we are discussing rhinos and pangolins, senselessly poached for their horns and scales which are composed mainly of keratin intermediate filaments.

You can imagine my anger when, on searching 'chemical composition of pangolin scales', finding a peer-reviewed publication on USING PANGOLIN SCALES to treat rheumatoid arthritis. Yes, you read that correctly: funded research into further uses of illegally poached pangolins. WTF?

@mike_feigin @CellCellPress That final sentence makes me pause …. Usually the goal is to cite ALL relevant refs but the implication here is that many curate - ok perhaps not actively- their refs to exclude those from minorities or less-well-known labs. I guess this is easier to do when citing reviews.
