@REWoman Yeah, fair enough, many of these people(even the ones in lending) are basically in "retail banking." They may not have advanced knowledge of exactly what goes on or about what leads to these problems and they also assume that they are talking to "simpletons," most of the time.
@hmacbe It's like, when you're tied to the tracks with unbreakable, un-cuttable bindings with mere seconds before a very heavy freight train is about to squish your brains out through your eye-sockets and there is another person there saying, "Calm down, everything is gonna be alright."
As you can see in the pictographic chart above. The price of imported commodities may come off, leaving importers "feeling the pinch,"
and a flight to safety may cost you and arm and a leg, as the bears continue their euphoric spree.
As usual,
"In the end we're all dead."

@realEstateTrent Yeah I agree with other comments... Phishing, scam an fraud calls (even blocked constantly) literally outnumber business calls on any given day and entirely in weekends.
Fraud, scams, and robo-nuisance calls are changing behaviours. We need to find a way to permently block all.
@EndWokeness Wtf? "created by"
Pretty sure Nature and Evolution, (or maybe God if you lean that way) "Created Coffee" to fill some ecological niche. Which, "Nearly Everyone" has the opportunity to both exploit and/or enjoy if they so desire.
We should probably drink Soy milk instead. 🤣🤣🤣
@jeffry_franks@AndySwan 3/ Today, we know the true numbers, they are now historical facts. I was right then and I'm still within margin or error today. Which is far more than anyone can say for the skewed, Beysian Misrepresentations.
@jeffry_franks@AndySwan 2/Using Bayesian Stats to represent the real numbers (particularly those of vaccine effectiveness.)
was not only a misrepresentation but one of orders of magnitude.
@jeffry_franks@AndySwan 1/ My comment wasn't about the efficacy of the vaccine or the program to administer it. It was about misrepresentation of facts through manipulation of data to instill fear. Unnecessary, misrepresented fear, in order to promote mass hysteria.
The more "People" that tell you to "trust them" and to not to worry about YOUR Money, Cash Deposits, etc... The more you should be VERY concerned about those very things.
@REWoman @brianmcarsales It's a generalization and a very true one. In truth, it means bubbles form when manias occur (or are encouraged to occur) and many ppl involved are swept up in the thinking pattern that denotes the Mania. Most of those ppl NEVER see it coming and denial of reality is very strong.
@REWoman Grow lending? What about deposits?
TBH, it seems like more of moral risk, at this point, than a good idea.
During downturns and debt crisis', small independant or regional banks(and credit unions) are the ones that tend to default or get swallowed by their nat/Intl counterparts
@REWoman@Rogers 7/ lower competition and higher inertia coming from changeovers in their legacy CDMA networks as opposed to the others GSM networks. (which have greater competition in general)
But I suppose that's expected in Canada he of Liberal Crony-Capitalism, patronage and kickbacks.
