20 years ago yesterday, I joined my local fire station as an On Call Firefighter after being told by the local joiner and shopkeeper that I was “taking a pager”. 2 decades on, and now working as part of our On Call Improvement Team for Scotland. It’s certainly been a journey 🚒

Congratulations to both. Lorraine’s service to her community in Tarbert has been exemplary. She’s dealt with some of her communities most significant incidents with the upmost professionalism over the years. A real credit to her station and On Call firefighters as a whole 👏 👏
