@HydraulicDesign @mgeist @acoyne To be clear I’m not trying to convince you (or anyone) of anything. I think C-18 sounds like an unsustainable approach but it can’t continue the current way; with big tech using copyrighted material without paying. It’s bully tactics and destroys small business and innovation.

@HydraulicDesign @mgeist @acoyne So I have a pie shop. And everyday the giant bakery down the road takes my pies and gives them away as an incentive for their customers to buy other stuff in their bakery. I don’t see a cent.

Now either they start paying me for my pies or I’m going to have to stop making them.
