@PuertoRicanJosh @BloodyElbow Australia has particular tax rules for visiting shows and sporting events to ensure they get taxed. Both the athletes and the company will be taxed. Foreign withholding is not the final tax number but the maximum figure. Once tax returns are filed this figure should come down.

@Dannyboyo1955 @9_Moley We’ll lose some talent in the short term but it will be worth it. Playing in the NRL is a privilege not a right clubs have proven they are incapable of acting as the moral arbiters in these cases

@Dannyboyo1955 @9_Moley I’ve always said the league should get tougher especially around violent crimes. Forget the stand down half measure and rely on the legal system BUT if you are convicted of a violent crime you are instantly deregistered.
