Bing Bong x Nova.
Token2049 Dubai. April 29, 7PM.
The traders you watch. The influencers you follow. The community you ride with.
All under one roof.
Don’t miss it.
Building in public isn't always pretty.
Here I am hosting my biggest event yet, 1500–2000~ people in Dubai during Token 2049, and of course, something still doesn’t go to plan.
This time, it was the apparel and merch that didn't arrive on time. Somehow we pulled off a clutch save, got a driver to pick it up from the post office it was stuck at.
Moral of the story: You can plan everything perfectly, but it rarely plays out that way. What matters is how you adapt. If you keep pushing and stay resourceful, things tend to work out, sometimes even better than expected.
The event was a massive success. Seeing that many people come together, connect, and build real relationships was unreal.
I love being in that energy. Just keep trying things.
If you've never been to IRL events, change that right now
The best connections and conversations are at IRL events like Asia, Token2049, EthCC, Consensus, etc
When you're at these events, you realise how much of a small bubble CT really is
There are a lot more good people in these events that aren't as loud on the timeline
For once, it's a good change to be around different individuals, who aren't just shitting on each other 24/7 in CT
Highly recommend for anyone to get out there and travel tbh.
The crypto events landscape in 2026 has been shaky so far, there's no point pretending otherwise.
We've seen some of the biggest events in the space shut down.
From NFT Paris to Token 2049 Dubai being pushed back, and I'm sure there's going to be more.
These were events that led culture, brought communities together, and gave people a reason to connect in person.
But I never want this to hold people back from meeting each other.
This space is accelerating one way or another and the in-person side of it needs to keep up.
The events you're going to see from Pudgy Penguins this year will be phenomenal.
I'll be hosting many of them and will make sure they're some of the best events you've been to.
Exciting times ahead, and I'll be hosting more of these events soon!
Time to change the game.
The landscape of CT right now is painfully bland and we all know it
Last year I bet on myself with heavy conviction and went all in on video, lifestyle content and bringing real educational value to the timeline
That decision changed it all for me
But I'm not here to sit on what I did last year, because this year I'm going even harder
More video content.
More lifestyle content.
More substance on the timeline.
The game needs changing and I'm not waiting for someone else to do it
Time to raise the bar for good
