@Rob_Briner@ChristeenGeorge Withdrawing discretionary effort is hardly news. It is interesting that ‘working to rule’ is action short of a strike, but really nothing new under the sun. Someone just came up with a catchphrase and it stuck.
@Rob_Briner One of the most ridiculous examples of content writers having little to say and replicating each other’s content. Doing your job, asserting work/life boundaries and opting out of ‘always on’ demands is hardly quitting.
Who doesn’t love a pin badge?! Unexpectedly received this from @SocietyET today plus a fellowship certificate (start date a bit out, but nice gesture).
A huge THANK YOU to all volunteers during #VolunteersWeek2020 and especially to all the wonderful @missingpeople volunteers who are a lifeline when someone goes missing
@mweller Having been an hour out all winter, my car clock now shows the correct time. But I haven’t been driving so I’ve had no chance to appreciate it.
@MurrayAshley@Mind_Tools It really was awesome. I had no idea it was something you could see, but someone shared the instructions https://t.co/kjO2bLCzCw
@Mind_Tools Q9 The cheers for NHS health workers last night was great - everyone in my neighbourhood hanging out their windows and on balconies clapping and cheering. Real community spirit. #MTtalk
@MurrayAshley Ashley I agree. e.g. Mondays I normally go to yoga class, so I have decided to do my own home practice at the same time instead. Keeps the routine going #MTtalk
@Mind_Tools Q7 Having a plan is probably useful or at least a couple of things to do. e.g. I put this #MTtalk in my calendar (really) so I would stop work. And I put yoga practice in too. Then I might actually do those things.
