@HalifaxBank It’s not the first time this has happened though is it? It happened the end of January as well so your platitudes of ensuring “this doesn’t happen again” are meaningless. I saw acc details, names, where people work and national insurance numbers! Not good enough!
@k9cbw@richardbrunning They have no choice with mine but they have made it as difficult as possible to hand it back. And loads of extra hidden charges. I don’t care though, I just want rid. Going elsewhere this time.
@k9cbw@richardbrunning I got my car on pcp. The value depreciated so much that if we were to take finance on the existing amount at the end of the contract, we would be taking out nearly £6k more than the car is worth. As it is it’s going back to them next week with nothing further to pay 🤷🏼♀️
@anniemdudu@MartinSLewis I took screenshots as proof in case they denied anything or tried to brush it under the carpet. I would NEVER post them publicly. That’s disgusting! They’re obviously part of the same bank, what if someone did that to them?? 🤬
@MartinSLewis Yes, I also have taken screenshots as proof. If there are transfers to someone else’s account you can see their account number and sort code. Also benefit payments with NI no’s as a reference.

@daisiecarew@HalifaxBank I’m having exactly the same issue. It scared the crap out of me! Surely this is a really serious data protection issue. I can see other peoples bank account details if a transfer has been made to them from this persons account! I’ve screenshot as evidence.
