@JohnLewisRetail John Lewis have admitted that the product you sent me was not the one described. Somehow it’s my fault because I should have known it’s couldn’t have been the higher spec model described because of the price. How can anyone trust what John Lewis says ever again? @JohnLewisRetail

@JohnLewisRetail I ordered two lights but they were missing the glass visors they should have come with. You can’t send me the visors and they’ll cost me £230 to get from the manufacturer but you’ll only give me £60 towards them. How is that reasonable?

JLP’s stance is you can say what you like in your product descriptions and if you get caught out you’ll give a refund (which is no more than your basic legal obligation). Why would anyone trust JLP if you think this is OK?

@BootsHelp I’ve booked a flu jab but it was cancelled at the last minute- as was the next one I booked. Want to know what is going on as I’m in a high risk group but customer services just cut me off. Same thing happened last year. Boots have become so unreliable!

yesterday as no legal adviser. CourtServe not updated. Victim still thinks the trial is taking place today. Case listed for admin hearing next week so no idea when it will happen. Glad victim's evidence had been agreed and I didn't travel from Surrey to Plymouth to observe. 2/2

@kirkkorner Tried to observe a remote trial today. Checked yesterday and today - still listed on CourtServe. Was sent a CVP link but just waiting in lobby. Emailed the court to ask them to admit me but told they couldn't see me in the lobby. Turns out court was cancelled 1/2

@philipdmcavoy @mrdanwalker I’m not sure there is any evidence to say that they are choosing not to produce more, particularly given the opposition to the oil and gas industry by those concerned about climate change.

@philipdmcavoy @mrdanwalker BP, Shell etc drill for the oil and so produce the commodity in short supply. They sell it to the highest bidder - just as any producer of a commodity will. In a normal market the rise in price means new producers enter the market and so the price goes down.
