@GaryScribbler As someone who is part of the decision making in the colour of college lanyards, we have a different colour each year and then rotate, this made me really smile 💜
@Marc_Allum@SarahGibsonLD We received four of those letters yesterday. £494.40 a year to receive basic check ups for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We can afford it but that is not the point, and there will be thousands who really really cannot. So many children who will now face a lifetime of no dental care.
I'm doing a raffle.
Tickets are just £2 each.
All the money raised is going on books for St Paul of the Cross Primary, in Warrington.
You can win ALL these SIGNED books + £50 to spend on books of your choice.
Details HERE.

@DanWuori We tasked our toddler to bring his little sister’s first birthday cake to the hospital when he came to meet her! Obviously she couldn’t her eat her slice so he had to eat hers for her! 🥰
A 🧵 for schools using Amazon to stock up your library:
A couple of weeks ago we received a lovely order from a primary school near us. Big list! Varied! Good stuff on there!
We have always operated a sliding scale discount for schools - bigger orders = bigger saving…
Boy sits in a class, with his head on the table, reluctant to do his writing.
I see it, and I come back to this later in the day.
Later I'm told that he needs to be more 'resilient'.
We discuss the home circumstance. It's not good, it's complicated and we know that it's always been tough.
We then agree that he's probably the most resilient child that we have ever known.
Good to take a step back, change our strategy and to reconsider the terminology that we're expected to use.
Leg slipped down between train & platform at Chippenham. Lovely GWR staff at Bristol Temple Meads found kit for me to change to picture on right. What if there were just machines? Station staff must stay!
