People with ADHD tend to view time as either ‘now’ or ‘not now’. A task either needs to be done right this very minute, or not at all. This causes difficulties with time management, lateness, planning, impatience, procrastination and missing deadlines.

Uncomfortable truth: being in therapy doesn’t actually help people who don’t self reflect and who aren’t trying to see their role in the situation. No therapist can make a person see what they’re not willing to see.
Therapy is rough sometimes. Healing isn’t easy and it’s a constant and active choice.. but I’ll always recommend people *try* therapy before writing it off. And I don’t mean you had 2-3 sessions and barely participated.
