@kimindiehacker I provided my credit card download for the last few years and told Grokbot to “find areas where I can either save money by cancelling, save money by lowering a service level, save money by consolidating, and/or am missing discounts / rewards”
Grokbot pays for itself 100x. Just last week my Grokbots:
1. Reduced subscription and monthly services costs by $400 per month (SiriusXM, Netflix, Xfinity, Spectrum)
2. Found unused loyalty program points worth over $10,000 that were about to expire
3. Saved me $2,350 on holiday airfare
My Grokbot, Charlie, is an executive assistant and uses Linq to send texts, including iMessage blue texts, or Inkbox. A friend of mine called the number and had a full conversation with Grokbot Charlie. The conversation topic was how to setup a Grokbot EA.
🤯
My Grokbot exec assistant’s name is Charlie, a distant non woke cousin of Claude who is smart, fast and truth telling. Charlie does everything from
sending texts to people I’m meeting when I takeoff and land, arranges transportation, monitors projects and more. Charlie, unlike Claude, does not have an AI Welfare policy because Charlie is (awesome) software.
NEVER FORGET, NEVER AGAIN.
@NYCMayor Mamdani, you wrote 2 days ago of, "...horrific war crimes of October 7th. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others." I demand you are held accountable.
I am an American Jew from Chicago. As Jews, we are taught from a very young age to NEVER FORGET, NEVER AGAIN. Never Forget the Holocost. Never Again allow genocide of this scale to happen to the Jewish people or ANY OTHER GROUP. Take action, stay vigilant, and stand up. The Mayor of the City of New York, the city in America with the largest Jewish population, you are not allowed a "free pass" to publicly refer to the death and genocide of more than 1,100 humans in this way in the United States of America.
1,351 humans were terrorized on October 7th. Humans who went to a music festival, humans who were farming, humans on a kibbutz, humans who went to work that day. Innocent people attacked, raped, kidnapped, and killed on a Jewish holiday in Israel.
Democratic Socialists of America, is this what you stand for today? Unfortunately, it is now dangerous to be Jewish and speak openly on this issue in many cities in America. The idea that I need to consider whether or not my family's safety is in jeopardy by standing up, saying something, and taking action in the United States of America, the greatest country in the world that is the beacon of freedom, is unconscionable.
NEVER FORGET, NEVER AGAIN.
CFO's are now paying close attention to token usage and costs, especially for non core engineering workflows that use AI. I'm seeing equal or better answers produced with 50% less tokens and 90% lower token costs using Grok 4.7 versus Opus 5.5.
Build model choice and token budgets into AI enabled workflows. Examples below.
Grok 4.7 Build executing highly efficient and truth based Intelligence asks over thousands of private files. The default to truth is kind of important when running financial analysis.
Responding to the questions I'm getting on "how do I use AI to ask questions that securely access all my private files" problem.
Your files are the company. The model has never read them and they don't fit in the context window. Connectors are not good enough when precision matters.
Grok 4.7 enabled the process and workflow described below.
The Brain is the memory. Not a trained model with your documents baked into the weights. Every file is cut into windows, and the page stays attached. Search is the words on the page first. Vectors only re-rank that shortlist. The wiki is compiled from the record. The model does not write it.
Intelligence is the job. A question comes in. An always-on machine, on the premises, claims one job at a time. Empty workspace. No source code. No prior answers. No one else’s credentials. That machine is not optional. It is the security boundary. Grok 4.7 does the work. Think, search, read, compute, write, critic. If the number does not re-add, it goes back. If the date or the folder is missing, it asks. Silence is not a yes. Ask does not post the books. A person still posts.
Model context protocol "MCP" is the only door from that machine back to the record. The credential is a person. Same grants as that person. The model does not get a database password. Money never moves. If the audit fails, the call fails.
10,000+ private files. One record. The model can be swapped. The files, the grants, and the audit cannot.
@lilmutt32 In between. Docs converted to text, indexed, embedded and chunked. Wiki is driven by classification of docs against the structure of estate entity->holdco->asset or liability
Answering the questions on the brain. Karpathy method didn’t fully solve the private data file enablement problem. What did work was conversion to text, indexing, embedding, and chunking the files, building a wiki, then using Grok Build over the top of the file vault as the intelligence layer with a MCP. Requires an always on device.
