@jeremy_lutz Far outside my area of expertise, but I believe that statisticians will tell you that the std dev on the growth of the economy is quite large, and people try to extrapolate way too much from the one data point.

I dunno who needs to hear this but Eddie Rosario would've ranked 8th among Twins position players in WAR this year. They would've been even more apt to dump him at the deadline than Cleveland.

@Mdaugher7y @glenperkins And I guess there may be advantages to extending him now rather than later, but the 60-80 games part threw me off cuz hopefully we would see him for that many games next year even if there's no agreement beyond 2022.

@NickNelsonMN Thanks. Yeah true about a lot of guys that come to mind. Either extended before FA year or ended up leaving. I sure hope they wouldn't trade Buck in the off-season but if they were serious about not extending, this would be the time.
