Indian Air Force hosted a four-member delegation from the Royal Air Force, UK, at Air Force Station Bidar on 11 Jun 26. The visit provided a platform to demonstrate the IAF's fighter pilot training ecosystem, and enabled professional exchanges on training philosophies and instructional methodologies between the two Air Forces.

The India–UK Defence Equipment Sub-Group (#DESG) and Industry Oversight Working Group (#IOWG) meetings were held in London on 7–8 May 2026, reinforcing bilateral defence collaboration and strategic partnership between the two nations.

The DESG meeting was co-chaired by Dr. Garima Bhagat, Joint Secretary (Land Systems), Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, India, and Mr. Shimon Fhima, Director of Strategic Programmes, UK Ministry of Defence.
The IOWG meeting was co-chaired by Air Vice Marshal Ashish Srivastava, ACAS (Projects), #IndianAirForce, and Mr. Stuart Cole, Deputy Director, UK Security & Defence Exports, UK MoD.
