Two ladders instead of one - that was the conclusion when we re-examined a metal-organic quantum magnet Cu-CPA. Have a look at our recent preprint for more:

I am sad that I had to miss the @psich_en Condensed Matter Summer Camp due to unforeseen circumstances but at the same time happy that our groups work (@cqumatUZH) was still well presented by our brilliant postdocs @DrDrYahne and @WolfgangSimeth! 1/5
Very nice talks from all of the speakers today at the @psich_en Condensed Matter Summer Camp! I would especially like to highlight my @cqumatUZH colleague @WolfgangSimeth who gave an insightful overview of the rich physics within heavy fermion metals.
Conference season continues with SPS meeting at @unifr. Discussing new devices, interesting phases and cool experiments with @JohanChangLab, @sflury90, @jonas_psi and many others.
Postdoc @Gedas_Simutis gave a fantastic seminar talk @psich_en yesterday in which he summarized his new results on the cuprates achieved by combining scattering methods and uniaxial pressure. You can read more about his results here: https://t.co/cRmzNOHuZE
Nice to see a fellow #neutron and X-ray scientist being recognized! Congratulations to Andrew! Our communities are grateful for continuous leadership at large-scale research infrastructures!
Since 25 years, the Swiss Spallation Neutron Source #SINQ has continuously evolved to address new scientific challenges, not least with its extensive upgrade in 2019-2020. #NeutronsForScience#ResearchAtPSI#25yearsofSINQ https://t.co/DmrVze7IPo
Today postdoc @WolfgangSimeth was presenting his #neutron spectroscopy results providing deep insights in #quantum states of heavy electron metals at the Strongly Correlated Electron Systems seminar of @isisneutronmuon. This was the first in-person seminar after the pandemic!
1st year PhD student @jonas_psi quickly got the hang of reciprocal space! He and postdoc @Gedas_Simutis use the diffractometer Orion at the SINQ #neutron source of @psich_en to coalign several crystals of a #quantum 🧲 for experiments at the spectrometer LET at @isisneutronmuon.
