@OnlyInBOS Disagree. Big dig did great damage to public transportation and burdened the MBTA with massive debt. Driving is dangerous, expensive and the required space for cars takes away from potential housing. There’s no more space or money for cars. We need alternatives to cars.
I’m genuinely proud of how well the @MBTA is doing.
-The OL is Speed restriction free, with the GL and RL following by end of year
-The BNRD is bringing more frequent bus routes to more places and improving connectivity
-A new team dedicated to station/infrastructure maintenance
@MBTA@MBTA_CR@MBTA_CR But today, instead of one hour train from Boston to Kingston, post sox game we got put on a bus that looks like it’s going to get us into Kingston at 9:30-10. Only about 2+ hours late. Fail. A bus because your conductor took the day off?
