Such a kind and most generous offer to ALL BYU women Cougs. Jonathan and Tara Oliver of SmartyStreets are assisting these women with starting their own brand. Together with NIL classes, our featured speaker series, mentors, internships and jobs, our women will be off and running!
Just because those in women's sports are somewhat less recognized doesn't mean they're less important or less valuable. Their hopes and dreams and sacrifices matter and we want to be a part of that.
@GJMcClintock @smartystreets We are sponsoring roughly 300 total athletes and each individual is an inspiration to us all for their hard work and dedication.
@beyrem_Makh @thecleancoders This is still a cost/benefit analysis you should do at an organizational level. Changing platforms (OS, language, tooling, etc.) is expensive but a price worth paying for us at the time. Nowadays, we'd stick with C#/.NET Core because the project aligns better with our needs.
@beyrem_Makh @thecleancoders It's a much harder decision now. The engineering that's gone into .NET Core is seriously impressive stuff. Way back when we switched to Go, the only way to run .NET web apps was using Mono and it was...troublesome.
DigitalOcean question: is there any "private network" (VPC) option between SFO2 and SFO3? Or is each a completely isolated facility only accessible through the public network? I'm coming at this from the AWS paradigm of us-west-1a and us-west-1b with a VPC for private traffic.
@mholt6 I'm abandoning the Apple ecosystem entirely. My Dell XPS 13" 9300 arrives next week and I'll be using Arch Linux exclusively from now on. Every app that I use on my Mac I already have on my Arch Linux machines.
