@JoeSquawk Joe - the SALT cap would benefit many rich people - no doubt - but it also impacts many middle class people like me living in California. I’m not rich trust me. Might kids might get to go on more family vacations if it weren’t for the cap.
@RiskReversal@GuyAdami@LizYoungStrat I agree with you three - irrational exuberance, nothing more. Headed for a reckoning. Even if rates get cut this year via fast inflation reduction - growth/productivity will be below average over the next few years. Earnings matter.
@jimcramer $F should sell their $RIVN now, collect $20B, and wish them well!! I think Detroit can be better than most think at competing with these new “tech” companies. Farley will look like a genius when $RIVN falls back to earth.
@jimcramer Jim - hedges went crazy last week $DXY $GLD $SLV, and the $VIX was up early in the week on positive indexes - don’t investors buy protection so they don’t have to sell? So…more grinding higher ahead?
@davidfaber@SquawkStreet You do realize that you are a national financial news show, not a local NY weather channel, right? We have massive fires burning here in CA, tornadoes elsewhere, but rain in NY Is the lead?
@SecRaimondo I saw you on the David Rubenstein Show - I like your style - keep up the good work. We need more politicians like you, please spread the word.
@SquawkCNBC fabulous interview with @cooperman_leon this morning - great example of what people should do with wealth. Also love the Will Rogers quote about politicians - paraphrasing - “if politicians did 10% of what they said they would do, there would be no need for heaven”
@jimcramer I am past depression and am totally accepting of #AAPL at 33x - it can’t keep sinking from $120, right? If #AAPL can’t sink, then #SPY can’t sink either, right?
@jonfortt “On the other hand”...I like your analysis, but could you please ease up on the cheese with the delivery? The whole “Well Andrew (pause)...” it’s too much
@TheFrankIsola love that bit today on OTH about @DangeRussWilson - “you want to be involved, fine, do the work!” - so true Frank. No person, no matter how talented, can outsmart hard work and preparedness
