@Lijnspanning@wake911@findthestones i feel like things would be a lot more chill for the colour blindies if most folks got thr hue/lightness distinction you just mentioned lol. like fucken switch to black and white, if it's still good, we're all good.
@LouisStaples And here's 200+ people talking about it. Job done, twitter baited. They know fine well clumsy wording works because it elicits a response and sticks in your head lmao, they're not banging rocks together.
@Gammitin Is this on a VM or something with fast/emulated storage? 'cause I remember win95 spilling into the swap space just trying to open the control panel on 16mb.
But also I was a kid, so it was probs full of malware lol.
@Limulus54@ZamoriXIII@ADHDForReal Insane take... but if buses had ejector seats for when someone puts their phone on speaker... eeh... i could be swayed.
@ADHDForReal Learned it (basic spelling + some signs) with wifey just kinda out of curiosity. Been super handy in loud places, at a distance, and for being a pair of gossipy bitches. Haven't met a deaf person yet, but still totally worth it for the ~60 mins it takes to learn the alphabet.
@MrGemezl honestly, ps1 style games chasing affine tex mapping and low precision FPU-less jitter are missing the point.
the real nostalgia comes from filling in details / your mind, upping the immersion
the AO looks great and could be approx by games like MGS anyway via pre baked lightmaps
@Grimdoomer 20ish years ago folks were sending specific strings to people on IRC to trip their AVs. It's cool how we haven't really progressed from that.
@ShawnHymel Not quite single-board, but an arduino with the USB host shield satisfies cheap + easy. I used the shield with an ESP a few years back, IIRC it wasn't awful either.
