#HomeSchoooling7 Talk about showing the way! Not only has Mila, aged 7, painted a wonderful and exciting portrait of a vegetable man inspired by Arcimboldo, she's chosen as her subject - the President of the United States! Pumpkin head. Carrot tie. It's perfection. Bravo Mila!
My seven-year-old daughter was busy randomly bashing away on our piano today. Her older brother suggested that she might take lessons. 'No thanks,' she replied confidently, 'I prefer just guessing... like Beethoven.' #guessinglikeBeethoven
Great comedy gig last night from 'You're not Scottish' @DWhitney (pictured) and 'Littlehampton is better than you think' @MikeShephard at Jenny Lind pub @hastingslaughs. Still drunk, still laughing!
Listening to Op 111, played by the masterly @paullewispiano with my 7-year-old son. 'Do you know who wrote this?' I ask. Clue: 'It's Ludwig van...?' His answer: '...Dyke? '
The reason nobody outside the UK knows what ‘we’ want from brexit is that there is no external goal. Brexit was conceived as a means of keeping the Tory Party together and became a proxy for internal political and structural problems which have little or nothing to do with Europe https://t.co/N3mitBnCcE
MPs need to be told that there is no, and never was, a mandate for Brexit. 37% of the electorate voting Leave in an advisory referendum is not a mandate: it is an expression of minority opinion. May asked for a mandate in the GE, & lost her majority. Brexit is illegitimate.
