I ❤️running- it teaches u discipline, persistence + rewards u have to earn.
Early mornings, long solo runs through rain, wind, heat.
Today I achieved a milestone I didn’t believe I could.
lesson for life- keep grinding away doing the consistent boring things - it will pay off
@alearmuzzi@fgomollon Is any leadership position truly selfless? Surely we gain influence power and recognition. It’s an honourable thing to try and achieve but almost no leadership carries no benefit to the individual. We can still purposely lead without the facade we gain nothing.
Super sad news. Everyone always says when someone passes away that they were such a great person. In this case he really really was.
RIP vats. You will be missed.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our colleague Dr Srivathsan Ravindran. Vats was a dedicated and highly respected physician, educator, and researcher in the field of gastroenterology; a loving husband, son and brother.
We remember him not only for his outstanding professional achievements, but for his kindness, humility, and unwavering dedication to patients, colleagues, and the wider community.
His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.

Movie critics don’t direct blockbuster films. Book critics don’t write the novels. Yet their expertise improves the entire field — by calling out flaws, spotting biases, and guiding audiences (and creators).
Telling young investigators that rigorous trial critique shouldn’t be a primary academic output is nonsense. Criticism is scholarship. It protects patients.
