Happy Ash Wednesday! Though penitential, Lent is a beautiful time on campus because “we’re all in it together.” Having Valentine’s fall on the same day reminds us that fasting is to help us fall more in love with the Lord.

We were pleased to host the third annual seminar on "Business and Catholic Social Thought: A Primer." During the seminar, we discussed foundational principles in Catholic social thought and how they applied them to their own fields.
Co-creator of our prestigious Röpke-Wojtyļa and Novak Fellowships, Candace is kind, thorough and attentive to opportunities. She makes all of us better, and keeps us laughing with tales of her young kids' antics.
@CioccaCenter .@teachempowered this is the 400 level undergraduate version that includes a silent auction for unowned “bones.” Our students loved it and the “price discovery” was a great lesson in entrepreneurial economics.
Wondering why you aren’t seeing more of Dr. Sautet on campus? He’s on sabbatical. He sent us this photo of his view from his research and writing nook in the French Alps. We are not at all jealous.

Happy to see our CEDE program (to get high school students to discover their own agency and think like entrepreneurs) gets a shout-out in this piece. https://t.co/J9UgUMPRq8 #principledentrepreneurship

Catholic schools helped make this country what it is over the past 7 decades. I'm not willing to give up on them now. Some of them just need a shot in the arm, and a more entrepreneurial approach.
