Gritty + Optimism=Some days I don’t feel like doing the work. I do it anyway.
No hype. No shortcuts.
Just discipline, faith, & showing up.
This is for leaders, parents, coaches & anyone who’s done quitting on themselves. Follow if you’re ready to build something that lasts. 🦬
Gritty + Optimism =…?
Doing the work on the days I don’t feel like it.
Choosing discipline when motivation fades.
Trusting the process before the results show up.
That’s how I’ve built real confidence. 🦬
This is probably one of the greatest lessons for life.
"If you’re having fun, then you’re dangerous, right? Then you’re hard to compete with. You don’t want to go up against the person who’s having a good time doing it because if it feels like a hassle or a chore, that’s the person who gives up when it gets difficult. But the person who’s having a great time at the start is much more likely to stick with it when it gets hard."
(James Clear on The Knowledge Project)
The Hard Truth: Gritty + Optimism =…?
Life hasn’t gotten easier for me.
I’ve gotten stronger.
Pressure exposed what mattered.
Pain shaped me.
Growth always cost something.
I decided it was worth paying for.
Gritty + Optimism =…?
What is it?
Showing up even when motivation is gone.
Believing the work matters because it’s hard.
Not toxic positivity…earned hope.
This is how I live.
This is the mindset I’m building.
almost ANYONE can accomplish almost ANYTHING if they work at long enough, hard enough, and smart enough! the key? you have to REVERSE ENGINEER your LIFE GOALS into DAILY HABITS. #WinTheDay#HappyNewYear

@pnabbie @SCASCD A1. We need time and guidance in developing our digital literacy since our students are more digitally advanced then I am.

Interesting thought for this morning: I can see & have seen both sides of this…not all behaviors are unmet need, while some are. Bottom line: teachers need support to help students with unmet needs. Especially for the ones we aren’t trained or qualified to meet.
If I knew back then what I know now. It was all working for my good. There is beauty in the ashes. There’s a peace within the storm. Just hold on. If He is making you wait, He is making it good.🙏🏾
A5 Within my classroom, I strive to give each student a voice. Allowing each person to share and be seen & heard. This allows my students to share their stories with one another so we can understand each other better. #LoveSCSchools @SCASCD
A4 Building positive culture is hard...to do this it all begins with relationships. From collective leadership and collaboration to making the environment feel welcoming, a positive culture begins there. #LoveSCSchools @SCASCD
