Joseph Smith revealed so many good truths that were never taught or practiced until the Lord restored His church. Joseph Smith will forever be the prophet of the restoration, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will forever be the hope of world.
People that don’t believe in God have a clear moral code, but when you question who or what is the source of their laws or code, they either point to the majority or themselves. God’s laws were never followed by the majority, but his laws are pure and good. God is good.
We can deceive our bishops or the other Church agents, unless at the moment their minds are lighted by the spirit of revelation; but we cannot deceive the Lord.

Practice now and be strong for those times of affliction and refinement that will come. That is when faith in God, in Christ, and in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will really count. That is when faith must be unwavering.
We don’t know why all of the things that happen to us in life happen, why sometimes we are spared a tragedy and sometimes we are not. But that is where faith must truly mean something, or it is not faith at all.
