Your math is WAAAAAAY off by the way. Last year's 12 playoff teams had 275 blown saves in 807 save opportunities. Granted, not all blown saves end in a loss.

Yesterday they were tied at 85 with 5 minutes to go and if it weren't for a meaningless tip in with 3 seconds left, they would have scored 1 free throw the entire rest of the way.

Perez was already on the 40-man roster. Calling up Max would have meant having to DFA someone, which is not ideal. Even with the broken arm, they probably don't want to send Parker to the 60-day IL, which is the only other way to move Max up without risking another player getting poached off waivers.

He can't redshirt while playing half a season. For a medical redshirt, the injury has to occur in the first half of the season and the player can't play 30% or more of regular season games, which means playing in a max of 9 games. No point in burning a year of eligibility, especially if it means trying to rush your rehab. He'll still get practice reps and important development next year and then hopefully come back with something to prove the year after next.

The failed sobriety tests are being reported in almost every news article about the accident.

Video coverage from NBC New York, shared by anchor Natalie Pasquarella on Instagram, provided additional details from law enforcement at the scene.

@itsAntWright @gvsukush1 I was there and Rockford played excellent defense as did Avondale. Both teams couldn't buy a basket too, plenty of missed open looks. The shots went up, but they just didn't fall.
