Everyday I contemplate deleting this app
Just nonstop negativity about absolutely everything
It's exhausting
Why can't we just enjoy what we're consuming instead of always finding something to complain about. Let's just have a good time with what we're given
Smh.

@BoundaryBreak Food is a false equivalence. 1. Food shouldn't be that expensive in the first place and I wouldn't go to a place like that at all often. 2. Food is a nessesicity, gaming isn't.
@lovefooIishh EXACTLY! The point is the amount of money, not the hours. He didn't say "18 hour games suck", no he said 70 whole dollars for an 18 hour game sucks
Movie tickets are $15-20 in most places, that range is pushing it.
Perspective:
You pay $20 for a movie. It's bad you don't like it. Okay fair u sat for 2h it was only 20 bucks
VS you pay $70 for a game you think you'll like, you end up not liking it. Down $70
Difference.
@ItsKonBaby@sebn3 That's disingenuous. The argument isn't "are longer games on average less quality than shorter games", no. The only argument is time, and the amount of hours for an experience. So in OPs hypothetical the quality is the same.
@Wintertide92 It's not even necessarily about how long the game is. I've played my fair share of games that were relatively short but genuinely incredible.
However, it's becoming increasingly common for games to not only be short but also painfully mid, all while charging me $70
TLOU and Elden Ring. Two examples of well regarded great games.
TLOU 10hr - Elden Ring 50+
Speaking for myself, if I have $70 to spend, and I'm told that both of these games are great, I would choose the one I'm getting the most entertainment time for. That's not crazy
@Nanogenix@MightyKeef The thing is no one is talking about quality vs quantity. Idk why people are bringing this up. The assumption is we're talking about a "good" game on both sides. A longer game isn't automatically worse, a shorter game isn't automatically better.
