Oh, I have a charger now. And now that I don't have to watch the battery too closely I just...don't want to be online much. A gastric incident made for a painful, prolonged evening Sunday. Probably a combo of gas and something else. But I was like a colicky baby.

Got a positive COVID-19 test today, following a week of mild-to-moderate symptoms. Will I recover soon? Require hospitalization? Remains to be seen. Will I be afflicted with looooong COVID? Remains to be seen. Will it kill me, leaving my remains to be seen?

I start Remdesivir yesterday. 5-day treatment, which means I'm hospitalized through Wednesday. I need to work - and I mean WORK - at getting my own oxygen up, or they'll keep me longer.

Florida actually has the highest vaccination rate of any red state. They have actively prioritized getting those at-risk vaccinated. Some people haven’t noticed it because Delta happens to be hitting FL hard right now, but it would have been so much worse without that.
