Speaking at the Pan-African Adolescent and Youth SRHR Conference 2026, Dr. Roselline Achola the Senior Technical Advisor for SRHR and selfcare- @MinofHealthUG, highlighted the importance of youth leadership, multisectoral collaboration, and meaningful engagement with communities, religious leaders, and cultural leaders to advance adolescent health and self-care.

Her remarks underscored a critical lesson from Uganda’s experience: sustainable progress is achieved when young people are empowered to take responsibility and when all sectors of society come together to support their health and wellbeing.
