Do people get over long #Covid ?
Some people come back & say, “I feel better” or “I feel I improved.” If you dig a little bit deeper, they did not get back to their baseline; they adjusted their baseline. They used to be able to walk the dog 3 blocks out of the house & now they only do a half a block.
Recovery, unfortunately — for fatigue & dysautonomia — is actually quite rare.
In the 90s, women were less likely to negotiate their salaries than men. Today, they're more likely to ask... but still get fewer raises.
The solution is not to encourage women to advocate for themselves. It’s to change the stereotypes and systems that are biased against them.
