Today is my last day at Bridge Cottage. I still have to pack up a lot of stuff and have a ratger large to do list. So of course I woke up in the night with a migraine.

And to everyone getting their results today. Remember this is one performance on one or two nerve wracking days. It doesn’t change what you know about the subject or what you gained from studying it. Whatever the grades, you know more than you did.
Meet Persephone! The pandemic started shortly after she was adopted, so she is not used to visitors. She gets scared and hides under the blanket. The other cat, Sebastian, comforts her. If she gets to know you, she is cuddly. Sometimes if you sing to her, she’ll meow back.
Meet Sebastian! He is very large but kind to everyone. His family calls him a gentle giant. He is a caregiver to the whole family. He comes and shows love when he sees his family needs it. He even takes care of the smaller cat in the home, looking after her when she is scared.
I have a lot of things I should be doing, but I've spent most of the day drawing pets for @ARLIowa's #poorlydrawnpets fundraiser and it's the most fun I've had in a long time.
@jonty Playing a musical instrument or anything artistic that involves hand eye coordination to distract the brain from anxiety. Free writing. This is also what my PhD is about.
What an absolute joy to talk to the NAWE conference this morning about anxiety, horror and MR James. Thanks to everyone who came along so early on a Saturday and to @NaweWriters for organising such a wonderful conference! #mrjames#anxiety
I will be speaking on Saturday morning! My workshop ‘How is a short story like a panic attack?’ explores anxiety in horror fiction and the ways fiction seeps into reality. There are so many amazing panels, it’s all very exciting!
Here it is! Read my story and others in the latest issue of Popshot! As a writer and a sort of artist, I've loved this magazine for a while now and I'm so happy to be a part of it. https://t.co/XdjPOne9SC
Very excited to have a story published in the next issue of the wonderful @popshotmag. It's a story about a hot tub! So @actel should probably buy me a hot tub to celebrate.
