sleepmaxxing 101:
-no screens or blue/flickering light for 2 hours prior sleep (use red lights)
-consistent bedtime day to day (no more than 30 min variation)
-blackout curtains
-earplugs
-67 degree F room (+/- 2 degrees)
-linen or cotton sheets (washed with no fragrance detergent)
-CO2 level <750ppm (most forget this)
-10 min morning sunlight to entrain circadian rhythm
-air filtration in bedroom (PM 2.5 <5ug/m3)
-last caffeine >10 hours before sleep (zero caffeine is elite status)
-last food 2-3 hours before sleep
-last substantial fluid 2-3 hours before sleep
-hot shower 90 min prior to sleep to begin cooling down core temp (vasodilatation->cooling)
-3-5 min journaling brain dump prior to sleep
-supplements (+/-): magnesium, glycine/collagen 30 min prior to sleep
