HHS has a brand new report out on the real science of gender dysphoria in children. Some key findings:

-Currently, one in every twenty adolescents either claims to be transgender, or think they might be.

-"The risks of pediatric medical transition include infertility/sterility, sexual dysfunction, impaired bone density accrual, adverse cognitive impacts, cardiovascular disease and metabolic disorders, psychiatric disorders, surgical complications, and regret."

-Instead of establishing that sex change treatments worked well in adults, and then extending them to children, "the opposite occurred." Doctors found that sex changes were NOT producing the promised benefits in adults, so they recklessly applied the treatments to children, supposing without evidence that they might work better if inflicted earlier.

-There is "compelling evidence" that U.S. gender clinics are not following even their own highly lenient standards for providing access to puberty blockers and sex-change operations.

-The medical "consensus" supporting child sex change treatments was created by a small group of ideological actors which took deliberate steps to stifle dissent and suppress debate on the topic. In reality, no "consensus" has ever supported child-mutilating sex change treatments.

Hugely important. This administration will never get credit from the media, but they are saving thousands of children from an unimaginable evil.
